Comedians born in Vienna

Vienna is Austria's capital, set on the Danube, and was for centuries the seat of the Habsburg empire. Imperial palaces, St Stephen's Cathedral and the Ringstrasse still shape its streets, and the city is known worldwide for classical music, coffee houses and museums.

Alongside this, Vienna has a well established tradition of German language Kabarett, a satirical cabaret form that runs naturally into modern stand-up, and its theatres and clubs today host a comedy scene for locals and visitors alike. Comedians Antonia Stabinger and Erika Ratcliffe were both born in the city.
