Privacy Policy
Standupedia is a catalog of stand-up comedy. The operator of standupedia.com is responsible for the personal data processed through this site. We do not sell personal data.
Data and purposes
We process technical data such as IP address, browser information, pages visited and visit times to operate, secure and improve the site. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond. We rely on legitimate interests in running the service, maintaining public profiles and handling enquiries, and on consent where required for analytics.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies and browser storage remember preferences such as language, country and your analytics choice. We use Google Analytics to understand site usage; it loads only after you accept analytics cookies, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can delete cookies and stored site data through your browser settings; this also resets saved preferences.
Comedian profiles
Profiles describe public figures in their professional capacity, using public sources such as official websites, social media, Wikipedia and YouTube. If you are featured, you can request a correction or removal.
Other services and ticket links
Hosting, security and analytics providers process data to support the site. Embedded YouTube videos and external ticket sites process data under their own privacy policies. Providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, subject to safeguards required by applicable law.
Some ticket links are affiliate links: we may receive a commission if you buy through them. Ticket purchases are handled by the ticket provider.
Retention and your rights
We keep personal data only as long as needed for these purposes or legal obligations. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority.
For privacy requests, including profile corrections or removal, use our Contact page. We will respond promptly.
