Comedians born in Finglas

Finglas is a large suburb on the northern side of Dublin, combining older village origins with extensive twentieth-century housing. It began as a rural settlement with early Christian associations and grew into a densely populated part of the capital with a strong sense of community.

As one of Dublin's many neighbourhoods, Finglas sits close to the city's celebrated comedy scene, with residents a short trip from its clubs, theatres and touring stand-up shows. The comedian Brendan O'Carroll was born here.
