Comedians born in Benin City

Benin City is the capital of Edo State in southern Nigeria, once the seat of the powerful Kingdom of Benin. It is known worldwide for the Benin Bronzes, cast sculptures now held in museums around the world, and for the remains of its ancient defensive walls and moats.

A busy modern city today, Benin City is the birthplace of comedian Bovi Ugboma, part of Nigeria's fast growing stand-up comedy scene.
