About Belu Lucius
Belu Lucius made her name on Instagram before anyone put her on a stage. Born in Buenos Aires in 1987, she studied public relations at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, specialising in communication and social media, and from 2012 she posted humorous content drawn from everyday life. That work earned her the Instagramer of the year title at Los más Clickeados in 2017 and 2019 and a Martín Fierro Digital nomination for best humorous content.
The move into acting came through theatre, with the role of Marina in El Canasto at the Teatro Picadilly in 2016. Television followed on Telefé in 2021, where she reached the semi-finals of MasterChef Celebrity and sat on the panel of Cortá por Lozano, and she has been a guest on the Argentine edition of Pasapalabra. On streaming she appeared in Red Flag on Luzu TV in 2022, and in 2024 she played Mechi in the HBO Max series Felices los 6.
