Felix Buenaventura
About Felix Buenaventura
Felix Buenaventura is an Argentine stand-up comedian who has performed since 2004. He trained as an improviser and clown at the Chame-Gene School of Theatrical Studies in Madrid, and from 2007 was a co-creator and organizer of Laboratorio, a Spanish venue where comedians tested new material on a weekly basis. Rather than working in the everyday observational style common in Argentine stand-up, Buenaventura favors the absurd, free association and musicality, arguing that a comedian needs a poetic style of their own. He has performed in Spain, Ireland, Uruguay and Argentina, presenting solo shows including Napoleonico, Auto-titulado and Corazon Animal Print, and serves as the regular host of La JAM de Stand Up in Buenos Aires.
