About Martín Bossi
Jorge Martin Bossi (born 16 October 1974 in Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine actor, comedian and impressionist. Before turning to performing he worked as a tennis instructor and studied social communication at the National University of Lomas de Zamora, leaving the degree unfinished to train in acting at Victor Laplace's theatre school, where he graduated in 2000. He debuted on television in 2002 on Telefe's Vale la Pena, working three years as a character performer, then joined Marcelo Tinelli's Showmatch in 2005, remaining until 2010 and building his reputation there for celebrity impressions and satirical sketches. He went on to television roles including Maximo Corazon (2002) and Los unicos (2011), in which he played Patron Carranza, as well as Un amor en tiempos de selfies (2014) and El robo del siglo (2020). In 2011 he received the Konex Award as one of the best comedians of the decade, and has also won multiple ACE and Estrella de Mar awards.
