About Tato Broda

Tato Broda is an Argentine stand-up comedian who came to comedy from a career in advertising, entering the field through his connection with screenwriter Victor Wolf. He has worked in stand-up for more than twelve years, building a solo touring show called Pasto that he has performed in cities across Argentina as well as abroad, including Spain, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay and the United States. Since January 2013 he has also co-starred in Furia, a stand-up and improvisation show built around the everyday things that make people angry, which he performs together with comedian Natalia De Los Santos; the show has run continuously at Paseo La Plaza with several performances a week. Broda has said he is willing to make himself uncomfortable on stage for the sake of a joke, a philosophy that runs through his self-deprecating material. He continues to tour Pasto and Furia to venues around the country, including regional theaters and cultural centers outside Buenos Aires.
