GuiHome

Guillaume Wattecamps, known as GuiHome, is a Belgian video creator and comedian, born on 20 January 1992 in Namur. After finishing his secondary studies at the College Notre-Dame de la Paix in Erpent, he moved to Paris to pursue his vocation. Back in Belgium, he studied communication at the ISFSC. It was there that he began making humorous videos on his Facebook and YouTube page "Gui-Home vous detend", where he played the role of a lazy, selfish and casual student in permanent conflict with his parents and the education system.

His videos, which were just meant to amuse his classmates, quickly found success. He wrote a one-man-show that he presented for the first time on 2 November 2015 at the theatre Mercelis in Brussels, followed by a tour in Belgium produced by the comedian Francois Pirette. In 2019, he separated from his producer Francois Pirette and joined the RTBF to develop the project "GuiHome vous detend est un vrai touriste". The same year, he founded No Picture Please, a digital and event communication agency.

In 2022, GuiHome launched a comedy festival in Namur titled Namur is a joke, held each year in March. He was spotted by Jeremy Ferrari, who invited him to join his production company Dark Smile Production and launch him in France, presenting his second show, renamed "GuiHome vous detend", during 2024. In January 2025, he opened his own comedy club titled "Chez Guillaume" in Namur, offering a dinner-show experience. Since September 2025, he has hosted a weekly humorous column on the program Quotidien.
