About Salvatore Di Bennardo
Salvatore Di Bennardo works in two crafts at once, stage comedy and comic books, and signs a good part of it with the short name Salva. From 2016 to 2021 he was one half of Hich et Salva, a musical comedy duo that put his love of music, the stage and offbeat humour together with his partner's. With the comedian Gaëtan Delferière the pair also created the show Il était une fois au Cube.
Radio became his regular outlet. After guest spots with the duo on BX1 and La Première, he was hired by the presenter Walid as a columnist for C'est presque sérieux, broadcast on La Première. He also co-wrote an episode of the series L'Amour à trois, shown on Tipik and Auvio.
On paper, he made his first attempts as writer and artist in the fanzine Atelier 24 and got into the magazine Spirou in 2014. His one-shot albums Les Aventures de Firmin Champion and Smoking Out were published by Monsieur Pop Corn, and in 2024 Dargaud released Les Chroniques d'Ona, a series for young readers he created with the illustrator Yohan Sacré.
