Marcos Chiesa

Marcos Chiesa (born in São Paulo on 24 June 1967), better known as Bola, is a Brazilian biologist, radio broadcaster, humorist, businessman, producer and YouTuber, who gained prominence through the program Pânico and through the television programs Pânico na TV (RedeTV!) and Pânico na Band (Rede Bandeirantes). He currently hosts the podcast Ticaracaticast alongside Márvio Lúcio, known as Carioca. Bola also broadcast the Campeonato Paulista de Futebol through the Portal R7 and the streaming platform PlayPlus.

Chiesa began working in radio in 1985 through the promotion team of Rádio Transamérica in São Paulo, distributing t-shirts, stickers, tickets and various giveaways during a break from his Biology course at the Universidade de Santo Amaro, from which he later graduated. He moved to Rádio Cidade FM and then, in 1990, arrived at Jovem Pan FM. In February of 1993, Bola was interviewed on the street by Maestro Billy and Marcelo Batista of the Programa Pânico, and the team found him funny, leading him to become a fixed member of the program. He also worked as a humorist on the programs Ratinho Livre on Record and Programa do Ratinho on SBT, and was part of Caldeirão do Huck. He gained television notoriety through Pânico na TV on RedeTV!, which premiered in setembro de 2003, and continued on Pânico na Band, which existed from 2012 to 2017.

The last episode of Pânico na Band aired in dezembro de 2017, and Bola continued with the Jovem Pan cast before announcing his official departure on 5 March 2018, after 25 years. In agosto de 2018 he took over the program "Bola, vai no meu lugar?" for the PlayPlus app alongside Carlos Alberto da Silva (Carlinhos). In junho de 2021, in partnership with Márvio Lúcio (Carioca), he began presenting the podcast Ticaracaticast, broadcast every Tuesday and Thursday. In dezembro de 2021 he was hired by Grupo Record to join the broadcast team of the Campeonato Paulista de Futebol de 2022 as a commentator, and he also took part in the broadcasts of the Paulistão 2024.
