Juliano Gaspar

Juliano Gaspar is a Brazilian stand-up comedian, writer and content creator born in Florianopolis, now based in Sao Paulo. He was the grand winner of the 2018 Campeonato Itubaina de Humor and has been part of the cast of the Risadaria festival, billed as the world's largest humor festival, as well as appearing on Comedy Central Brasil and Globo's Conversa com Bial. In his hometown he co-created Se Tu Diz with fellow comedian Giovana Fagundes, a recurring stand-up showcase recognized as part of Florianopolis's first generation of stand-up comedy. With his wife and comedy partner Lea Maria, he tours the show Bad Trip Comedy, built from the couple's real stories about traveling together to countries including Peru, Denmark, Thailand, Cambodia and Australia. In February 2023, Lea Maria publicly accused Gaspar of domestic violence and filed a police report, posting images of injuries on social media; Gaspar denied the accusations in a public video statement.
