Marco Luque

Marcos Luque Martins (born in São Paulo on 8 April 1974) is a Brazilian humorist, presenter and former footballer. He is known for his characters, his theater performances, his role on the panel of the humor program CQC on Band, and his own program called O Formigueiro. He graduated in Artes Plásticas from the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP). In 2009 he was considered by the magazine Istoé Gente as one of the 25 sexiest men in Brazil, and in December of 2010 he won the Prêmio APCA in the category of humor on radio. Marco is married to Jéssica Correia and has two daughters from his previous marriage: Isadora, born on 18 December 2010, and Mel, born in 2012.

At age 18, Luque abandoned the artes plásticas course to dedicate himself to football. His first team as a player was the Esporte Clube Santo André in the ABC paulista. He transferred to Spain, where he played for Club Deportivo Numancia and Rayo Vallecano, then in the second division of the Spanish league, but ended his football career still very young due to its demanding nature. He then returned to studying arts to become an actor and turned to humor. He was one of the presenters of the program "Custe o Que Custar" on Rede Bandeirantes, alongside names such as Danilo Gentili, Marcelo Tas, Rafael Cortez, Rafinha Bastos and, in the last season, Dan Stulbach.

He was part of the cast of Terça Insana, where he presented various characters, entering in 2006 after sending his material with the character Silas Simplesmente, and remained until the beginning of 2009. After extensive stage experience, he discovered his talent in Stand-up Comedy, telling stories from his life in an unusual way with the solo "Tamo Junto", which attracted more than 100 thousand people to the theater since the start of the season in março de 2009. In 2009 he appeared in cinema in two works by Marcelo Galvão, Bellini e o Demônio and Rinha, and in 2010 he presented his own program, O Formigueiro. In 2016 he debuted on Rede Globo, taking part in Altas Horas. His most prominent characters are the motoboy Jackson Five, the taxi driver Silas Simplesmente and the hippie Mustafary.
