Serginho Lacerda
About Serginho Lacerda
Serginho Lacerda, born Sergio Luiz Lacerda de Oliveira, is a Brazilian stand-up comedian from the Vila Oficinas area of the Cajuru district in Curitiba. Trained in biomedicine, he worked in that field for about four years before a 2010 comedy workshop with comedian Carol Zocoli led him to begin performing at the Curitiba Comedy Club that November. He left biomedicine in 2014 to pursue comedy full time and recorded two specials for Comedy Central in 2016 and 2017. In 2017 he also worked in the communications department of the football club Parana Clube. Widely known by the nickname "Pai do Bento" (Bento's father), Lacerda has built much of his comedy around family life. Since 2022 he has toured the solo show "Vida de Pai" (Father's Life), an approximately 75-minute set about fatherhood billed as Brazil's first stand-up comedy show with a general audience rating, allowing children to attend and sometimes join him on stage.
