Guillaume Pineault
About Guillaume Pineault
Guillaume Pineault reached the stage by a roundabout route. The comedian from Saint-Hyacinthe first worked as an occupational therapist and then as an osteopath before turning to stand-up. In 2014 he was performing in Un Solide Plan B and Potter Comédie Show at Zoofest, in 2018 he appeared on La Guerre des clans on Noovo, and in 2019 he played the Juste pour rire gala led by Anne-Élisabeth Bossé and was nominated for Découverte de l'année at the Gala Les Olivier.
Détour, his first one-man show, opened in 2020 and sold around 50,000 tickets. Its writing brought him his first Olivier, in the Texte de l'année category. With Vulnérable, the second show, he kept the jokes but let in more of his own life, pairing the comedy with personal confidences.
