About Mark Little (Canadian comedian)
Mark Little grew up in New Westminster, British Columbia, but his comedy took shape on the other side of the country, in the Halifax sketch group Picnicface. The troupe built a following with viral sketches featured on Funny or Die and went on to make the feature film Roller Town. As a stand-up in his own right, Little won the Great Canadian Laugh Off run by Yuk Yuk's.
Television gave him his longest-running job. On the CBC sitcom Mr. D he played Simon Hunt, the science teacher at Xavier Academy, from the first season to the last. He also co-starred in Space Riders: Division Earth, a CTV web series built on a Power Rangers premise that won a Canadian Screen Award for best original web series.
His performance in the film Room for Rent brought him the Canadian Comedy Award for best performance in a feature film. Voice acting is another strand of his work: he voiced characters in Powerthirst, Gary and His Demons, the Netflix series Cupcake & Dino: General Services and Transformers: BotBots. He also hosts the podcast How Can We Help? together with Jackie Pirico.
