Diego Ignacio Urrutia Barra

Diego Ignacio Urrutia Barra is a Chilean journalist, stand-up comedian, and social media influencer. Born on 30 January 1995 in Temuco, Chile, he studied journalism at the Universidad de La Frontera, where his interest in communication and comedy developed. He began performing stand-up comedy and posting short comedic videos about everyday situations on Instagram and TikTok in 2015. Urrutia became widely known in Chile after appearing as a humorist at the 2023 Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar, where he stepped in for comedian Yerko Puchento. Following that appearance, his popularity grew rapidly, and he reached 1.4 million followers on both Instagram and TikTok, becoming the first Chilean comedian to reach that following on both platforms simultaneously. He is represented for live bookings by Chilean entertainment agencies, including La Comedia and Latina Producciones. He continues to produce comedic content under his own production brand, Taladro Produce, distributed through his website and social media channels.
