Andrés Bravo

Andres Bravo, widely known by his nickname El Rolo, is a Colombian stand-up comedian born in Bogota in 1988 to a mother from the Caribbean coast and a father from Pasto. He moved to Bucaramanga to study mechanical engineering at the Universidad Industrial de Santander but left his studies after a comedy performance in Medellin caught the attention of Aguila Descalza, one of Colombia's most important theater companies, which brought him on to work with them.

He has since settled in Medellin, building a stand-up career spanning 14 years, more than 1,200 performances and over half a million audience members. He has written and performed around fifteen solo shows, including Apague y Vamonos, Tan Linda y Sin Novio, Secretos de Cama, Salvese Quien Pueda and his most recent work, Expertos en Fingir, along with Insomnio, which he bills as Colombia's first horror-comedy stand-up format. His acidic, unfiltered style, mixing dark humor and everyday absurdity, gained a large new following after his material went viral on TikTok.
