Lukáš Pavlásek

Lukas Pavlasek (born 1978, Prague) is widely considered one of the founding figures of Czech stand-up comedy. He began performing in 2002, initially entertaining audiences between band sets at pub shows, before making his television debut on the HBO program Na Stojaka in 2005. Over the following two decades he appeared on Na Stojaka more than 150 times, becoming one of the show's most recognizable faces alongside fellow comedians like Jiri Jakima and Karel Hynek.

His style mixes sharp storytelling with observations about everyday Czech life, absurdist tangents, and a dry self-awareness. Three full solo programs define his headline career: "Kdo neplace neni Cech" (Who Doesn't Cry Isn't Czech), which clocked over 250 performances on tour; "Planeta Slepic" (Planet of Hens), premiered in 2021; and "Zmateni Komiku" (Confused Comedians), which debuted in autumn 2025. Beyond stand-up, Pavlasek is also a published author, lyricist, and actor - he played the lead in the fairy tale film Zakleta Pirko (2020) and reached the finals of the Czech dancing competition StarDance in 2015. He has a presence on Comedy Club, the stand-up television show broadcast on Prima Comedy Central.

Lukas Pavlasek tours regularly across Czech cities and continues to add new dates to his schedule.
