About Milos Cermak
Milos Cermak, born on 1 August 1968 in Prague, is a Czech journalist, commentator, writer, and stand-up comedian.
He studied cybernetics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. In 1988 he took part as a volunteer in the "Stola 88" experiment simulating a mission to Mars. He worked as an editor at the magazine Reflex from 1992 to 2003 and served as chief commentator at Lidove noviny from 2003 to 2005. Since June 2019 he has been an external contributor to Seznam.cz, writing as a commentator for Seznam Zpravy.
Cermak has written dozens of books and co-created the comic book "Hana a Hana." He has produced programs for Czech Television, including "Zavinac," "Bez obalu," and "Letem svetem," and since 2001 has worked part-time at the journalism department of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University. Alongside his journalism, he performs stand-up comedy together with fellow comedian Ludek Stanek, with whom he tours nationally and co-hosts the "Cermak Stanek Comedy" podcast.
