Johanna Keinänen
About Johanna Keinänen
Johanna Keinänen reached comedy by way of dance. She qualified as a dance teacher at the Kuopio conservatory in 1991, completed a master's degree in dance in 2000, and has worked as a choreographer at the Minimi Dance Theatre, one of the companies she set up.
Her stage work has never stayed in one category: she has appeared as a stand-up comedian, as an actress and as a clown, and she also writes scripts. The Tahti Theatre and the Kuopio New Summer Theatre, both of which she founded, gave that mix of movement and humour a home of her own making. On television she had a short part in Salatut elämät, playing Kaitsu Pylläkkäinen for three episodes in 1999.
