About Amandine Lourdel
Amandine Lourdel, born in Troyes, came to stand-up after a long stretch of acting training: the Conservatoire de théâtre de Troyes, ESRA, Cours Simon and the conservatoire of the 20th arrondissement of Paris. Theatre, cinema and comedy all feed into what she does, and her solo show goes by the title Renversée.
Renversée has also been performed outside France, with dates at the Alliance Française in Bangkok and in Singapore and a stop in Hong Kong. Reviewers have picked out the writing in particular; Télérama praised her working-class verve, her eye for everyday life and her cynical pen. On France Inter she delivers a chronicle in La Bande originale.
