Antoine Schoumsky

Antoine Schoumsky became known to the wider public in 2014, when he took part in the fourth season of the television comedy contest On n'demande qu'à en rire. His own stage shows followed a clear line of titles: Schoumsky au parloir, then En attendant Claire Chazal, and later Princesses Leya, a comedy project built around a parody metal band.

Theatre runs alongside the comedy. He has acted in Le Songe d'une nuit d'été by William Shakespeare and staged Eugène Ionesco's Rhinocéros himself. On screen he appears in films such as Attention au départ ! and Mince alors 2 ! and in television series including Calls, Tandem and Meurtres à Honfleur.

A large part of his work happens behind a microphone. In French dubbing he is the voice of Bill Skarsgård as the clown Grippe-Sou in Ça and its second chapter, of Donnie Yen as Chirrut Îmwe in Rogue One, and of John Magaro in War Machine and other films, and he shared the dubbing direction of the short Un Noël façon Bad Guys. As a screenwriter he has worked on the animated series Gorg et Lala, Jamie a des Tentacules and Les Schtroumpfs.
