Bruno Salomone

Bruno Salomone was a French actor and humorist whose comedy played with the codes of the absurd. That style first reached a national audience in 1996, when he won the M6 talent contest Graines de star. Two years later he was appearing regularly at the café-théâtre Le Carré Blanc as a member of the troupe Nous Ç Nous, whose line-up included Jean Dujardin.

His solo stage work came in separate chapters. After N'est pas cochon d'Inde qui veut and a show at the Bataclan, he returned alone to the stage in 2016 with Euphorique, which won the Globe de cristal for best one-man show and which he performed at the Trianon and on tour across France. Le Show du futur came after it. The sketches he published on video followed the same approach as his stage work, built on invented characters and recurring comic personas.

Television made him a familiar face. From 2007 he played Denis Bouley, one of the main characters of the France 2 series Fais pas ci, fais pas ça, and he also appeared in Caméra Café and, in the second season of Kaamelott, as Caius, the last centurion. Viewers knew his voice as well: he was the off-screen voice of the game show Burger Quiz, presented by Alain Chabat on Canal+. In cinema his credits include Brice de Nice. He died in March 2026.
