Camille Lorente
About Camille Lorente
Camille Lorente grew up in Ardèche and reached comedy through journalism. At the magazine Madmoizelle she wrote about sexuality under the name Queen Camille and made YouTube videos on the subject, and the magazine's monthly comedy nights at the Nouvelle Seine in Paris were where she first did stand-up.
After leaving Madmoizelle in 2020 she let the pseudonym go step by step and put her energy into stand-up, writing material about relationships, sexuality, family and psychology, and she tours with a solo show of her own. In 2024 she made the final of Comedy Class, the Prime Video competition run by Éric et Ramzy, and in 2025 she joined Zoom zoom zen on France Inter as a humour columnist. With former Madmoizelle colleagues she also founded the podcast 4 Quarts d'Heure, which won the Spotify Podcast Award for best talk show in 2026.
