About Didier Super
Didier Super, born Olivier Haudegond on 27 February 1973 in Douai, France, is a French comedian, singer and musician. His father, Patrice Haudegond, was a painter and author, and his mother, Jacqueline Lenain, was a visual arts teacher and painter. Before 2002 he performed in the amateur punk-cover group Zeu Discomobile and formed a street-performance BMX stunt duo, Les Tetes de Vainqueurs, with a partner known as Fabrice. He entered the public eye in 2004 with a solo album of deliberately crude, corrosive songs, Vaut Mieux En Rire Que De S'en Foutre, followed by a sequel in 2007 and a third album, Ben Quoi?, in 2008. From 2008 onward he shifted emphasis toward comedy, developing a one-man show, a musical-comedy parody titled Et si Didier Super etait la reincarnation du Christ?, and a comic book about his career. Since 2012 he has collaborated with the street-theatre company Compagnie Surprise on the reality-TV parody show On s'invite chez vous. In 2023 he resumed touring with his rock band Discount, followed by a tour of more than 40 dates across France and Belgium in 2024.
