Djamil Le Shlag
About Djamil Le Shlag
Djamil Le Shlag is the stage name of Jamil Bouanani, a humorist from Vichy who built his reputation in the Paris region, moving between small comedy rooms and the microphone of public and independent radio.
His first solo show, Premier Round, opened in 2017 at the Café de Paris in Ménilmontant, and he was also taken into the Jamel Comedy Club on Canal+. The second show, Exode(s), went on the road across France. Mounir Soussi works with him as co-writer and director.
Radio has run alongside the stage work. On Radio Nova he had a segment in Les 30 Glorieuses next to Yassine Belattar and Thomas Barbazan, and Guillaume Meurice, after catching one of his shows, brought him onto Par Jupiter! on France Inter. He walked out of that programme live on air in 2024 in support of Meurice. With Youness Hanifi, Mazine and Soussi he then started Les Grands Remplaçants, a podcast produced for Radio Nova.
