About Élodie Arnould

Elodie Arnould is a French stand-up comedian of French and Malagasy heritage who grew up in the Grenoble area. She studied at the INSA engineering school in Lyon and worked for six years as a mechanical engineer for the utility company EDF, a period that took her to Marseille, where she began taking improvisational theatre classes. She later moved into stand-up and was discovered by producer Philippe Delmas in 2018, who helped her build an audience at the Apollo Theatre, where her show grew from a 90-seat room to a 360-seat one. Her debut solo show, Future Grande?, has been broadcast on the channel Comedie+, and she was elected "Etoile du Parisien" in April 2019. She has performed at the Montreux Comedy Festival and the Jamel Comedy Club. Her second show, Fecondee, aired on France Televisions, and her material often centers on pregnancy, motherhood and parenting. Her third solo show, Bijou de famille, deals with family heritage and couple dynamics and has been staged at La Scala Paris. In September 2021 she published a book on pregnancy, Le Guide zero tabou de la grossesse, with the publisher First.
