About Kevin Razy

Kevin Razy is a French stand-up comedian, actor, and television and radio host born on December 23, 1987, in Paris. He is of Mauritian origin and began his professional comedy career in 2007 as a columnist on RNT, the web radio of Direct 8. From café-théùtre stages in Paris to satirical television on Canal+ and viral parody videos online, Razy belongs to the generation of French comedians who bridged traditional stand-up, digital sketch comedy, and politically engaged satire in the 2010s.

Kevin Razy launched his first solo show, La Petite Diarrhee de Razy, in January 2008 at the cafe-theatre Popul'air, which he performed for two years while building experience through open-mic nights and festivals. He gained his first major buzz in 2010 with the viral parody Sexion d'Homo, a spoof of the Sexion d'Assaut hit Desole. Razy is a founding member of the Studio Bagel collective, the influential French YouTube channel later acquired by Canal+ as part of its digital comedy strategy. On Canal+ he hosted a weekly segment called Le Scan de Kevin Razy in Le Before du Grand Journal, before launching and co-producing his own satirical news show Rendez-vous avec Kevin Razy in February 2017 alongside Mourad Moqaddem. Inspired by American late-night satirical formats such as The Daily Show, the program tackled French current affairs, identity, religion, and social issues through investigative and comedic segments. His stand-up work has continued in parallel, drawing on his banlieue and Mauritian background to comment on race, generational change, and contemporary French society.

Kevin Razy continues to tour France with stand-up dates in Paris and across the regions, regularly appearing at Parisian comedy clubs and theatre venues.
