Laurent Chandemerle

Laurent Chandemerle, from Plaintel in the Côtes-d'Armor, is an impressionist before anything else: borrowed voices are the core of his act, with stand-up style comedy and acting work built around them.

Next to the impressions he has released a long run of comic songs. Among the titles are Angèle, Ta Djeule and T'es ti bobo, then Pour faire chier les voisins, Breizh Attitude, Hausse ta bolée, On les a poqués and Comment que c'est, most of them named in plain spoken French. Among the later ones are Rock'N'Tek, a cover of an AC/DC song, and Louistaohberg, so the songwriting has run alongside his impressions for more than a decade.
