About Nick Mukoko
Before stand-up, Nick Mukoko danced for a living. He worked with French pop acts including Christophe Maé, M. Pokora, Shy'm and Lorie, and was in the cast of the musical D.I.S.C.O. at the Folies Bergère before he switched to comedy.
He learned the new trade in Paris comedy clubs, the Paname Art Café among them, and opened for Gad Elmaleh, Nawell Madani and Alban Ivanov. Television exposure came through the seventh and eighth seasons of the Jamel Comedy Club on Canal+. His solo show Chronic opened at the Apollo Théâtre in Paris in 2024 and has also been performed outside France.
Acting is the other half of the work. On film he appeared in 8 Rue de l'Humanité, directed by Dany Boon, and in Ima by Nils Tavernier, and his television parts include roles in HPI, Tropiques criminels, Carrément craignos, Le Daron and La disparue de Compostelle.
