About Nicolas Meyrieux

Nicolas Meyrieux, born 8 July 1986 in Grenoble, is a French socially engaged comedian, web video creator and farmer. He grew up in a family connected to healthcare, with a physiotherapist father and a doctor mother, and initially pursued medical studies.

At the age of 22, Meyrieux realized he wanted to pursue what he loved rather than follow his parents' path, so he left his studies and trained as an actor at the Cours Florent. He went on to build a career combining stand-up, comedy and video, creating the web series "La Barbe" and the show "Le Too Late Show".

Meyrieux is known for socially engaged comedy addressing environmental and societal challenges. He later became a part-time farmer in the Landes region of France, an experience documented in the film "Nouvelles graines", which portrays the sometimes difficult daily life of young farmers seeking to work in harmony with nature.
