Pascal Sellem
About Pascal Sellem
French viewers know Pascal Sellem above all from hidden camera pranks. Born in Paris in 1964, he was turned down by a hotel school and became a GO, one of the holiday entertainers, at Club Med. Once back in Paris he started writing sketches with a friend, Laurent Baffie.
Television work followed. Between 1986 and 1990 he appeared in Coco Paradise, presented by Stéphane Collaro, and from 1995 to 2005 he filmed hidden camera sequences for TF1 in Julien Courbet's programmes Sans aucun doute and Les 7 Péchés capitaux. On stage he acted in plays written by Baffie, first Sexe, Magouilles et Culture générale from 2001 to 2005 and later Sans filtre, which ran at the Théâtre Fontaine from October 2014 to January 2016 before going on tour.
His voice is heard in French versions of animated films: he dubbed Fillmore, voiced by George Carlin in the original, in Cars, and Zeng in Kung Fu Panda. He also had a part in the film Iznogoud.
