About Paul de Saint Sernin
Paul de Saint Sernin reached comedy by way of the sports desk. As a young journalist he read the sports bulletins on iTélé, and he later held a regular segment on Le Petit Journal. The two sides of his work merged in 2020, when he joined the newly launched Téléfoot channel and started mixing jokes into football coverage, a formula he also took to the 2021 Roland-Garros tournament.
On stage he worked his way through Paris comedy clubs, including the Paname Art Café and the Jamel Comedy Club, before his first solo show, written with co-author Grégoire Dey, opened at the Théâtre du Marais. In September 2022 he became a humorous commentator on Quelle époque ! on France 2. He has also filled in on France Inter radio, commented on the biggest Ligue 1 fixtures for DAZN, and had a role in Albert Dupontel's film Second Tour.
