Ragnar Le Breton

Before comedy, Matthias Quiviger was a basketball player in the semi-professional squad of Andrézieux-Bouthéon Loire Sud, competing in the French Nationale 1 championship. In 2017 he started acting training at the Laboratoire de l'acteur. His stage name points both to his roots in Brittany and to the legendary Viking chief Ragnar Lodbrok.

His audience first found him on Instagram, where he developed Michel Venum, a caricature of a boorish fake sports coach. From there he moved onto the stage: his first one-man show, Heusss, opened in October 2022 at L'Européen in Paris, and he later joined the actors Yvan Naubron and David Salles to present Libertés. On screen he worked under Rachid Bouchareb in Le Flic de Belleville, made a noted appearance in Guillaume Canet's Astérix et Obélix : L'Empire du Milieu, and took part in the game show Fort Boyard. Next to comedy and acting he has also fought in MMA.
