Tano (acteur)

Tano, born Anthony Gitenet in Marseille, arrived in comedy with a musician's training: he is a jazz drummer and has taught drums at a music school. His solo stage work took him to the Théâtre de Dix Heures in 2010, the Petit Palais des Glaces in 2011 and the Point Virgule in 2015, and from 2019 to 2023 he performed the show Idiot Sapiens. Along the way he collected jury prizes at festivals in Villeurbanne, Dinard and Strasbourg.

On television he played Francis in Scènes de ménages on M6 and appeared in Commissariat Central, a series that opens with his own song, "Les flics de la bac montent le son", which he wrote, composed and performed. Radio listeners know him from Rire et Chansons, where he was a columnist from 2018 to 2020.
