Vérino

Verino is a French stand-up comedian, actor, and producer born on 17 September 1982 in Nancy. His real name is Olivier Balestriero. He moved to Paris in January 2004 to start his comedy career and spent several years performing at festivals before landing his first solo show in 2009. He is best known internationally for his "Dis Donc Internet" YouTube series, which combines live stand-up with commentary on current events and internet culture.

Verino launched "Dis Donc Internet" in 2015 - a weekly YouTube series filmed live on stage where he reacts to current events and online culture. The series has accumulated over 90 million views on his YouTube channel and over 150 million total views across platforms. His second solo show "Verino s'installe" (2014) ran for 900 performances at venues including Bobino and the Grand Rex. His third show "Focus" (2021) reached over 210,000 spectators across 357 sold-out performances before becoming available on Amazon Prime Video. He became known to wider TV audiences through France 2's comedy show "On n'demande qu'a en rire" starting in 2011. His observational style blends everyday social commentary with sharp takes on internet culture and contemporary life.

Verino launched his fourth solo show "Rodeo" in 2024 at the Point Virgule in Paris, followed by a national tour through 2025 and 2026. Paris dates at La Cigale are scheduled for October 2025.
