About Willy Rovelli
Willy Rovelli comes from Cluses in Haute-Savoie. He studied audiovisual production at the Studio école de France and learned the job as an intern with Julien Courbet, and radio gave him his first real platform.
At France Inter he was a regular chronicler on Le Fou du roi, hosted by Stéphane Bern. At Europe 1 he became a familiar voice on Samedi Roumanoff and Faites entrer l'invité, and one summer he hosted his own show there, C'est midi, c'est Willy. For France Bleu he presented On n'est pas à l'abri d'faire une bonne émission.
On stage he toured Willy en grand, which was later released on DVD, and then Willy Rovelli en encore plus grand, whose run ended at La Cigale. Television audiences know him best as Le cuisinier on Fort Boyard on France 2, where contestants take on trials in his gastronomic restaurant, and he has been a chronicler on Vivement dimanche prochain and host of L'École des fans on Gulli. He also voices the rabbit Pompon in Comme des bêtes.
