About Aditya Gundeti
Aditya Gundeti is an Indian stand-up comedian born in Hyderabad who is now based in Mumbai. He co-hosts the podcast "Parkin Link" with his friend Binny Patel, and is known for his recurring comic character Vikas PT Sir, a strict physical-education-teacher persona popular with school-age audiences, which he workshopped at the J-Spot comedy festival before it went viral on Instagram. Earlier in his career he worked with fellow comedian Riten Pattnaik's Komedy Countdown, producing and curating shows, and encouraged Pattnaik to launch a sister venture, Komedy Countdown Odisha, in Bhubaneswar around 2020. He performs his own solo stand-up show, "Oversmartgiri", at venues including The Habitat in Mumbai, mixing personal stories with the recurring Vikas PT Sir segment. He posts regular stand-up videos, from set pieces on childhood, college life and relationships to generational comparisons between Gen Z and millennials, on his YouTube channel.
