Anmol Garg

Anmol Garg is an Indian stand-up comedian based in Bengaluru who performs under the persona Corporate Babaji. He previously worked as a software engineer at IBM before leaving the corporate world to try entrepreneurship, launching startups that did not succeed, and taking on stints in sales, digital marketing, event management and corporate training. During the COVID-19 lockdown, at around age 31, he attended a stand-up comedy show and decided to pursue comedy himself. His nickname "Corporate Babaji" grew out of an audience member's comment during a set and became the persona under which he built a large online following. His material draws heavily on his own entrepreneurial failures, most notably in the touring set Startup to Shutdown, and he has also hosted News You Can Misuse, a comedy show blending current events with humor that streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. He has built an online following of several hundred thousand people on Instagram.
