About Onkar Yadav
Onkar Yadav is a Delhi-based Indian stand-up comedian known for dark, anecdotal humor delivered with a deadpan style shaped by his small-town upbringing in Haryana. He has performed on the live comedy circuit since 2017, building material that explores caste, gender and identity through a Haryanvi lens, preferring intimate live audience connection over pursuing digital fame directly. His breakthrough moment came with Full Energy, his YouTube stand-up debut released in early 2023, which plays on the contrast between his calm on-stage delivery and the chaos he describes in everyday life; the special helped introduce him to a wider online audience beyond his existing live following. He continues to post stand-up clips on his YouTube channel, Boi Onkar, which has grown to over 100,000 subscribers, and has appeared on comedy podcasts discussing Haryanvi culture and caste in comedy alongside his ongoing live performances across India.
