Saikiran Rayaprolu

Saikiran Rayaprolu is a Hyderabad stand-up comedian, born in 1982, who performs primarily in English with a clean, family-friendly style often described as vegetarian humour. Trained as an engineer and formerly working as a research consultant, he entered the comedy scene after winning an open-mic contest in January 2014. His national breakthrough came in 2019, when his stand-up video Dark Skin & Getting Married went viral across WhatsApp and social media, eventually drawing tens of millions of views and making him one of the most widely shared Indian comedians online. His material focuses on family life and everyday observations delivered in a corporate-friendly, non-offensive tone that has made him a popular choice for brand partnerships. He was also one of five founding members of the Hyderabad comedy collective Funny Side Up, alongside fellow comedian Rajasekhar Mamidanna.
