About Surabhi Vanzara
Surabhi Vanzara is an Indian actress, writer and stand-up comedian born on August 9, 1979, in Mumbai. She began her entertainment career in theatre before moving into Hindi television and film, appearing in productions including Ssshhh... Koi Hai, Murder and Tumsa Nahin Dekha. In more recent years she has built a stand-up comedy practice under the banner Surabhi Vanzara Standing Up, performing regularly at the Habitat comedy club in Khar West, Mumbai. Her stand-up material draws on her decades in the entertainment industry, including a bit called "Making of a Gold Digger" and a set referenced elsewhere as "Lost in Lokhandwala" that plays on the stereotype of the scatterbrained actor. She continues to work across acting, writing and stand-up comedy, posting her live sets to her YouTube channel alongside her television and production work.
