About Tarang Hardikar
Tarang Hardikar is an Indian stand-up comedian based in Pune and a regular on the Mumbai comedy circuit, performing stand-up since around 2017. Over several years on stage he built a reputation among fellow comedians as one of the scene's promising younger voices, known for an offbeat, observational style that turns ordinary topics, including language and mathematics, into extended bits. Early stand-up videos include Chess and Jokes on Indian Cities, the latter drawing on his hometown scene. In 2026 he took his debut solo hour, If I'm Not Wrong, on his first international tour, performing it at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and the Adelaide Fringe, among other stops, while remaining based in India between tours. Outside comedy he has worked as an animator and is developing a cycle-racing video game called Cadence.
