Vishnu Pai

Vishnu Pai is a veteran stand-up comedian from Kochi, Kerala, described by local press as the soul of Comedy Lounge, the state's leading Malayalam and English stand-up comedy collective. Performing primarily in English, he has more than a decade of stand-up experience and now handles training for newer comedians joining the collective, teaching joke writing, pacing, delivery and how to recover from a show that goes badly. He is a regular headline act and host at Comedy Lounge's curated events, including its Straight Outta Kochi showcases, where he performs alongside and introduces other Kerala comedians. Vishnu Pai continues to perform live stand-up comedy shows around Kochi through venues such as Spotlight Socials, where his sets blend everyday life, language quirks and observational humor, remaining one of the established figures in the state's growing stand-up comedy scene.
