About Aci Resti
Aci Resti comes from Tangerang and made her way into comedy through televised competitions. On Metro TV she made the grand final of Street Comedy Indonesia in its fifth edition, and in 2016 she auditioned for the sixth season of Stand Up Comedy Indonesia on Kompas TV without getting through. Soon afterwards she was chosen as a finalist for the second season of Stand Up Comedy Academy on Indosiar, which she went on to win.
Screen work followed quickly. Her film roles include Tini in Critical Eleven, Saodah in Susah Sinyal, Achie in Benyamin Biang Kerok and its sequel, and Prita in Imperfect: Karier, Cinta & Timbangan, a character she carried on into Imperfect the Series. Her first lead came as Tasya in the web series Perfect Love, she plays Jejen in Nurut Apa Kata Mama, and on Bocah Kost Ong she wrote and directed the series as well as playing Nurul.
Music is a third strand of her work. Her singles include Pengen Ketemu and Tak Harus Sempurna, the theme song of Imperfect the Series, recorded with Zsa Zsa Utari, Neneng Wulandari and Kiky Saputri. She has also published a book, Temenan Sama Nasib.
