Bagas Sianipar

Bagas Sianipar is an Indonesian stand-up comedian and comedy content creator originally from Rantauprapat, North Sumatra, now based in Denpasar, Bali. He is part of the Stand Up Indo Bali community and produces comedic videos for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, including material featuring his own mother. In September 2019 he competed in the audition round of the 25th NusaBali Stand Up Comedy Competition, a contest the Bali newspaper NusaBali organized for its own 25th anniversary. He has continued performing in the years since, including a set on the Shrooms Garden comedy stage, curated by fellow comedian Soleh Solihun, at the 2024 edition of the Joyland Festival Bali, where he appeared alongside fellow Bali-based comedians Mukti Entut, Jui Purwoto and Nyoman Nanda. His comedy draws on the contrast between his North Sumatran upbringing and his adopted home on Bali.
