About Bakriyadi Arifin
Bakriyadi Arifin, usually called Bakri, was born in Bukittinggi in West Sumatra on 18 February 1993. Audiences recognise him by his short stature and distinctive face. Although he comes from West Sumatra, his reputation was built in Bogor, where he took up stand-up.
He has performed with the Stand Up Indo Bogor community since 2013, a group that also produced national names such as Jui Purwoto and Dzawin Nur Ikram. He first drew wider attention in 2014, when he led that community into the Liga Komunitas Stand Up run by Kompas TV.
