Budi Hardian

Budi Hardian is an Indonesian stand-up comedian born on June 9, 1992, and a member of the Stand Up Indo Samarinda community. Visually impaired since 2011, he built his stand-up material around his experience of blindness, introducing himself on stage with self-deprecating riffs on blind pop-culture figures. In 2022 he won the second season of the Liga Komunitas Stand Up, a community league competition held alongside Stand Up Comedy Indonesia by Kompas TV, and this win earned him a direct ultimate ticket into the show rounds of the tenth season of Stand Up Comedy Indonesia the same year, where he advanced to the top seven before being eliminated ('close mic'). His run made him the first visually impaired comedian to perform on the SUCI stage, following earlier finalists with other disabilities in prior seasons. Budi has continued performing stand-up and sharing comedic content through his social media accounts, including a released song about his mother, maintaining an active presence in Samarinda's stand-up comedy scene following his national television appearance.
