About Dono Pradana
Dono Pradana, born Adiya Rahman Pradana on April 16, 1989, in Surabaya, East Java, is an Indonesian stand-up comedian, actor, radio broadcaster and podcaster. He grew up in a low-income neighborhood of Surabaya and later joined the Stand Up Indo Surabaya community before pursuing comedy full time. In 2015 he became one of 14 finalists on the first season of Stand Up Comedy Academy, broadcast on Indosiar. He also worked as a radio host on the GMHR program on Hard Rock FM Surabaya. Pradana is associated with the comedy collective Majelis Lucu Indonesia. In 2019 he created and hosted the web documentary comedy series Bondo Wani for the Majelis Lucu YouTube channel, exploring different sides of life in Surabaya; one episode about the city's wealthy residents drew more than six million views and broadened his public profile. His growing popularity led to acting roles, including Yowis Ben: The Series (2020) and the films Yowis Ben 3 and Yowis Ben Finale (2021), both alongside comedian Bayu Skak. He later played the character Fadli in the SCTV drama series Lara Ati.
